You start accruing pension benefits from your first day of work as a temporary worker. You must be at least 18 years old. From day one that you start working through UBN or another reliable staffing agency—and as long as you’re over 18—we have a pension plan for you! You’ll accrue pension benefits through the StiPP pension plan, into which UBN contributes 15.9%. You’ll pay a small portion of the premium yourself, amounting to 7.5%. This all happens automatically—you don’t have to do a thing. Your pension plan also includes a survivor’s pension and—under certain conditions—a premium waiver in the event of disability. That’s nice to know.
A pension is part of your employment benefits. That’s why we also look at the pension plan offered by the company where you work. If the pension plan there is better, you’ll receive an additional payment.
Equal Pay
