  • New UBN app

UBN has a new app! With this app, you can easily manage many things yourself. For example, you can view your leave balance and pay slips, check and edit your personal details, etc. UBN can also easily send you messages, for example about your work or salary. (So make sure you give the app permission to receive notifications!)

We will also be introducing new features soon, but we will provide more information about those later. (These include a better overview and additional options for managing things yourself.)

Download and install the app on your phone now: Android| iPhone

  • Reminder: New collective labor agreement effective January 1, 2026

The new collective labor agreement for temporary workers will take effect on January 1, 2026. This collective labor agreement provides for improvements, including:

  • Equal pay. This means that your salary and allowances are more in line with those of employees who work directly for the company.
  • Improved pension plan. More attention is being paid to your pension, so you are better prepared for later in life.

We understand that these are significant changes. Please also watch this video for further explanation.

Do you have any questions? Please feel free to contact us.

We wish you every success, good health, and job satisfaction in 2026!

  • New collective labor agreement: vacation hours in excess of statutory requirements and accrued short-term absenteeism

A new collective labor agreement for temporary workers will come into effect on January 1, 2026. This will result in changes to some terms of employment. One of the consequences of this is that (above-statutory) vacation hours and accrued short-term absenteeism will be regulated differently.

What does this mean for you?

All accrued vacation hours above the statutory minimum and accrued short-term absence hours will be paid out to you at the end of 2025. Would you prefer to take the hours as time off? That is possible, but only in consultation with UBN and the company where you work.

Equal pay
With the new collective labor agreement, you will receive the same terms of employment as employees who are permanently employed by the company where you work. This means that, starting in 2026, your vacation hours in excess of the statutory minimum and other terms of employment will be subject to the rules of the company where you work (e.g., their own collective labor agreement or terms of employment).
You will receive more information about this in December.

Do you have any questions or would you like to record your hours? Please contact your regular contact person at UBN.

July 10, 2025 (09:31)

  • New collective labor agreement for temporary workers

On January 1, 2026, a new collective labor agreement for temporary workers will come into effect. The new agreement provides better arrangements regarding work, income, and pensions. It also gives you more clarity and certainty about your work situation.

Remuneration is an important change: if you work for a company through UBN (or another temporary employment agency), your remuneration must be equal to that of people who do the same or similar work at that company. The content may be slightly different, but the total amount is the same.

The pension scheme is also changing. From January 1, 2026, you will start accruing more pension.

Would you like to know more about the changes effective January 1, 2026? You can read more about them in this article.

  • Salary one day later

On Monday, May 5, we celebrate Liberation Day in the Netherlands. On this national holiday, we commemorate the liberation of the Netherlands from German occupation in 1945 and reflect on the great value of freedom, democracy, and human rights. In many collective labor agreements, employees are given this day off.

UBN Employment Agency will also be closed on this day. Normally, we enter your hours every Monday and you receive your salary on Tuesday. Because we are closed next Monday, your hours will be entered on Tuesday and you will receive your salary on Wednesday (May 7).

Do you have any questions? Please contact your UBN branch.

  • Sick leave policy updated

If you are ill and unable to work, this is obviously very unpleasant. If you are ill, always call UBN personally. (Always do this before 9:00 a.m. or, if you work shifts, before 4:00 p.m.) During your illness, Acture will keep in touch with you via text messages and phone calls. Always respond to these, otherwise they may cancel your sick leave. You can read exactly what you need to do and what your rights and obligations are in the updated sick leave regulations.

Is everything clear, or do you still have questions? Please contact your UBN representative.

  • New confirmation of broadcast

When you started, you signed an employment contract and a "confirmation of assignment." This confirmation includes your Function salary. It should also include any other agreements Function to your Function . Unfortunately, this has not always been the case. We apologize for this. To be clear: the salary you received has always been paid correctly. We should have included a little more information about the terms of employment on the confirmation.

We have sent you a new and more detailed 'confirmation of dispatch' by email. This now contains all the agreements we have made. Would you kindly sign this new 'confirmation of dispatch' digitally? This way, we can be sure that you are fully informed and have received all the information. We hope that you will continue to enjoy working for UBN for a long time to come, or that you can look back on a wonderful time at UBN.

If you have any questions about this message, please contact your contact person at UBN.

  • Change to pension plan

We would like to inform you about a change to your pension plan. You are currently accruing pension under StiPP's basic plan. As of January 1, 2024, you will be transferred to the plus plan. What does this mean for you? You are currently accruing 7.4% pension on your pensionable salary. This is the percentage that applies to StiPP's basic plan. Under the plus plan, you will accrue 12% pension. This means you will accrue more pension. We will pay two-thirds of this amount and you will pay the rest yourself.

Do you have any questions about your pension and/or this change? Please contact your branch.
