What programs do we offer?
At UBN, we offer a variety of training programs and certifications. Below are a few examples to choose from:
Forklift Certification:
Can you already picture yourself driving a forklift? You can! But before you get started, you’ll need a forklift certification. Don’t have one yet? No worries! You can get your forklift certification through UBN. With a forklift certification, you’ll demonstrate that you know how to operate a forklift properly. You’ll also learn the rules for working safely. UBN partners with a specialized training institute for forklift courses. This way, we ensure that you can operate the forklift safely and that the workplace remains safe.
Reach Truck Certification:
Do you prefer working with a reach truck? You can! A reach truck can lift loads up to 12 meters high. Because a reach truck has only one rear wheel, you can easily maneuver in tight spaces.
Just like with a forklift, you also need a certificate to operate a reach truck. This certificate is important for preventing accidents. You’ll learn about the hazards involved and how to work safely. The reach truck certificate is like a driver’s license for a car: it proves that you’re safe and qualified to operate the reach truck.
VCA Certificate:
Some companies require employees to have a VCA certificate. A VCA certificate is a tool to help you better comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. You’ll learn how to work safely. You’ll gain knowledge about safety and learn how to recognize unsafe situations. After the training, you’ll know what to do to prevent accidents. This will make you more aware of safety and health in your workplace.
VAPRO Training Program:
With a VAPRO training program, you’ll learn everything about the process industry. Once you earn this important certification, you can start working as an operator. An operator ensures that one or more machines are operating properly and are manufacturing or processing products.
Language Courses:
Would you like to improve your Dutch or English? You can! At UBN, we also offer language courses. Taking a language course will improve your job prospects and help you communicate more effectively in the workplace. Whether you want to better understand Dutch or improve your English, we’re happy to help.
Other courses:
Do you need another program or course to land your dream job? No problem! Get in touch with your UBN contact person. We’d love to hear what you need and discuss the options with you. We’re here to help you grow in your career.
Terms and Conditions
When you choose a training program or course through UBN to earn a diploma or certificate, we’re happy to invest in your future. In exchange for this free training, we ask that you continue working at UBN for at least a certain period of time. This ensures that you can put your new skills into practice. If you do leave earlier, we’ll ask you to reimburse a portion of the training costs. This amount depends on how long you worked at UBN after completing the training.
If you fail the exam or do not attend the course, we ask that you reimburse the course fees within two months. We do this to ensure that the investment in your development is put to good use.
