We’re looking for someone for our Groningen location who can work independently and take responsibility for the department. You’ll receive a gross monthly salary of €2,389.24.

As an all-around employee, you’ll receive on-the-job training, an aerial work platform certification, and an electrical training course. This ensures you’ll be ready to start work with the right knowledge and certifications. In addition, we also offer you:

• A gross hourly wage starting at €13.73, depending on your experience.
• A workweek of between 16 and 40 hours per week with flexible hours. You can choose from shifts of 5, 6, 8, or 9 hours per day.
• The store is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Travel expense reimbursement.

As an all-around associate, you will work in the Electrical, Garden, Hardware, Building Materials, or Plumbing department. You will follow the merchandising plan and regularly check whether the layout is still optimal. Your other responsibilities include:

• Checking and adjusting the shelf layout for optimal product presentation.
• You display display models in the store along with the appropriate accompanying items.
• Conducting price checks and implementing price and informational communications.
• Ensure there is a sufficient supply of brochures and samples for customers.
• Check and replace light bulbs as needed.
• Mirroring and sorting shelves. 

As an all-around employee, you have a strong sense of responsibility. You also get a real kick out of the DIY industry. You feel right at home among the shelves at a home improvement store and make sure they always look perfect. In addition, you bring the following to the table:

• You have plenty of energy and enthusiasm to get started.
• You speak Dutch.
• You work quickly and independently and pick things up fast.
• You can quickly get a sense of the big picture and see how organized things are.
