Production worker

As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you will earn a minimum of €2,942 gross per month, including a 16% shift allowance. This salary depends on your age and experience. You will be working in a close-knit team where collaboration and consultation are key. As a production employee, you will work full-time and have the opportunity to advance to the role of operator. As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium, you will manufacture aluminum profiles and light poles. Initially, you will assist experienced operators, learning step by step how to operate and inspect the machines on the production line. This takes place in one of two departments:

• Extrusion Department: Here, you will learn how to extrude, process, and package profiles. You will operate various machines to stretch and cut profiles to size.
• Lima Department: You will learn how to manufacture light poles using techniques such as elongation, conical forcing, alignment, cutting, turning, milling, grinding, and bending aluminum.

Nedal performs all these tasks in accordance with high-quality standards. You will work with processing machines such as alignment machines, presses, and saws, and learn to thoroughly check for dimensions, deviations, and damage.
The position of production employee operates on a three-shift schedule. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

You are willing to work in a three-shift system and are available for day, evening, and night shifts. You are in good physical condition, but the use of assistive devices makes the work less physically demanding.
If you meet the following criteria, that’s definitely a plus!

• Completed technical training at least at the LBO level (preferably in metalworking, mechanical engineering, or automotive technology);
• Valid forklift and/or reach truck certification;
• VCA certification;
• Crane certification (overhead cranes);
• VAPRO.
