Production Employee

As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you will earn a minimum of € 2915 gross per month, including a shift bonus of 16%. This salary depends on your age and experience. You will work in a close team where cooperation and consultation are key. As a production employee you will work full-time and you will get the opportunity to develop yourself as an operator. As a production worker at Nedal Aluminum, you will work on the production of aluminum profiles and light poles. You will first help experienced operators. This way you learn step by step to operate and control the machines yourself in the production line. This takes place in one of the two departments:

• Extrusion Department: Here you will learn how to press, process and pack profiles. You will operate various machines to stretch and cut profiles to size.
• Department of Lima: You will learn to produce lighting poles. You will use techniques such as elongation, taper forcing, straightening, sawing, turning, milling, grinding and bending of aluminum.

All these activities you will perform according to Nedal's high quality standards. You will work with machine tools such as straightening machines, presses and sawing machines and learn to fully check everything for sizes, deviations and damage.
The position of production worker starts in a two-shift operation from 06:30 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 23:30. Then you will move to a three-shift job from 07:00 to 15:00, from 15:00 to 23:00 and from 23:00 to 07:00.

You are willing to work three shifts, you are available in day, evening and night shifts. You are in good physical shape, but the use of tools makes the work less physically demanding.
If you can tick off the points below, that is of course a nice bonus!

• A completed technical education at at least LBO level (preferably in Metal, STEM or automotive engineering);
• Valid lift and/or reach truck certificate;
• VCA certification;
• Lifting certification (overhead cranes);
• VAPRO.
