Production employee

As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you will earn a minimum of €2915 gross per month, including a shift allowance of 16%. This salary depends on your age and experience. You will work in a close-knit team where cooperation and consultation are central. As a production employee, you will work full-time and you will have the opportunity to develop into an operator. As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium, you will work on the production of aluminium profiles and light poles. You will first help experienced operators. This way, you will learn step by step to operate and check the machines in the production line yourself. This will take place in one of the two departments:

• Extrusion Department: Here you will learn how to press, process and package profiles. You will operate various machines to stretch and cut profiles to size.
• Department Lima: You will learn to produce light poles. You will use techniques such as reduction pulling, conical forcing, straightening, sawing, turning, milling, grinding and bending aluminum.

You will perform all of these activities according to Nedal's high quality standards. You will work with processing machines such as straightening machines, presses and sawing machines and learn to fully check everything for dimensions, deviations and damage.
The production employee position starts in a two-shift system from 06:30 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 23:30. Then you move to a three-shift system from 07:00 to 15:00, from 15:00 to 23:00 and from 23:00 to 07:00.

You are willing to work in a three-shift system, you are available in day, evening and night shifts. You are physically in good shape, but the use of tools makes the work less physically demanding.
If you can check off the points below, that would of course be a nice bonus!

• A completed technical education at least at LBO level (preferably in Metal, WTB or automotive technology);
• Valid forklift and/or reach truck certificate;
• VCA certification;
• Hoist certification (overhead cranes);
• VAPRO.
