Are you a driven and accurate operator with experience in the printing industry? Then read on quickly! As Process Operator you will work closely together with the Foreman and the Chief Printer. You will regularly discuss the progress and quality of the work, and if necessary you will liaise with the Technical Department and Quality Control. We offer a gross monthly salary of € 2.897,-.
We also offer the following:
- A gross hourly wage starting at €16.65 depending on the experience what you bring.
- A full-time job with three shifts Monday through Friday.
- A standard allowance of 122.69%, this brings you to a gross hourly wage of €20.42.

What you will do
As a Print Shop Process Operator at our client, you will be responsible for setting up and operating their gravure printing presses (up to 10 colors). You ensure that high quality printed matter is produced on time, according to the planning and order instructions.
Duties and responsibilities as a Print Shop Process Operator:
- Setting up and operating the gravure press: You set up the machine according to the order information and operate it according to production and quality requirements.
- Checking and adjustments: You check that the proper materials and tools are in place and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshooting: In case of technical problems, solve printing malfunctions yourself and call in the Working Foreman or Technical Service for machine technical malfunctions.
- Ink Preparation: You will mix inks according to recipe and ensure that units are provided.
- Maintenance: You will perform periodic minor maintenance such as lubricating parts, checking filters, pumps and air bearings.
- Production Registration: You will enter production data into the production registration system.
- Keeping the workplace clean: You will ensure a clean and tidy workplace around the machine.

Your qualities
What we want to see reflected in your profile:
- MBO 2/3 working and thinking level, preferably in graphic (printing) techniques.
- Experience with packaging gravure and materials.
- Knowledge of quality, safety and environmental systems.
- Experience in the use of hazardous materials.
- Good command of the Dutch language (speaking, reading and writing).
Where will you work
Our client specializes in developing, producing and selling flexible packaging made from materials such as plastic, aluminum and paper. The plant focuses mainly on the production of special duplex and plywood laminates for coffee, aluminum lids for yogurt and margarine, and polypropylene laminates for bakery products, including metallized varieties. In addition, they make polypropylene and/or polyethylene laminates for chips and snacks. They also produce plywood laminates with high barrier properties, made from aluminum or metallized polyester, or with aluminum-free (EVOH) materials, ideal for foods such as cereals and pet food.
