Planner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated planner to manage the scheduling of our (refrigerated) shipments. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the scheduling of shipments, taking into account various factors such as locations, delivery times, loads, and available transportation.
We also offer:

• A salary between €2,371 and €2,500
• Two shifts: from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
• Travel expense reimbursement
• Chance of a permanent contract

You’re a true coordinator. You schedule (refrigerated) shipments, taking into account locations, delivery times, loads, and, of course, available transportation. You’re in frequent contact with (international) drivers, and you may occasionally need to make ad-hoc route changes when an urgent shipment comes up. You accurately process the transport orders in the system and ensure that all documentation is in order for the various routes and loads.

• A proactive attitude and excellent planning skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Experience in the transportation or logistics sector is preferred.
• Stress resilience and the ability to adapt quickly.

Our client is part of an international group. It is an import/export wholesaler of fruit juice concentrates. Our client operates in the food industry and therefore places a strong emphasis on hygiene, safety, and quality.
