Planner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven planner who will be involved in planning our (refrigerated) transports. In this role you will be responsible for the optimal scheduling of transports, taking into account various factors such as locations, delivery times, loads and available transportation.
Furthermore, we offer:

• A salary between €2371 - €2500
• Two shifts: from 07:00 to 15:30 and from 12:00 to 20:30
• A travel allowance
• Opportunity for a permanent contract

You are a real organizer. You plan the (refrigerated) transports taking into account locations, delivery times, loads and of course the available transport. You have a lot of contact with (international) drivers, and it may happen that you have to change an ad hoc route when an urgent transport arrives. You process the transport orders accurately in the system and ensure that all documentation is in order for the various routes and loads.

Are you the person at home who keeps the records, ensures that the bills are paid on time and neatly processes the inputs and outputs in a spreadsheet? Then we invite you to apply immediately!
Experience as a planner is not a requirement, if you can substantiate why you can handle this position and that you have good administrative and communication skills, you will certainly be considered.
What we ask of you:

• A proactive attitude and excellent planning skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
• Stress resistance and the ability to shift gears quickly.

Our client is part of an international concern. It is the import/export wholesaler of fruit juice concentrates. Our client deals with food products and therefore pays very close attention to hygiene, safety and quality. This is also the reason that there are several instructions at the workplace.
