Part-time Warehouse Worker

As a Warehouse Assistant in Nieuw-Vennep, you will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading air cargo equipment. You will work at our client, which has been a global leader in temperature-controlled containers for over 30 years. Interested? Then apply immediately! The gross monthly salary is € 2616,96 based on a 40-hour work week.

We offer a challenging position that includes:

• A gross hourly wage of €15.04.
• A part-time job of 24 hours per week. You will work Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between 09:00 - 17:00.
• A travel allowance.
• Development opportunities: through UBN you can take various courses if required.

The priority in this position is working with dry ice. This means that you make sure that the containers of dry ice are always provided with the right amount and placed in the right location in the racks. By working accurately with dry ice, you will contribute to the safety and efficiency of the transport process and proper temperature control of the containers.

Within this position, you will be responsible for:

• Working with dry ice: You check whether the barrels with dry ice are sufficiently filled and place them in the right place in the racks.
• Clean and careful loading of (refrigerated) equipment: Your job is to load the equipment cleanly and according to the guidelines so that it is ready for safe transportation.
• Cleanliness of workplace and containers: You keep both your workplace and containers neat and orderly.
• Moving containers with the forklift: You use the forklift to move containers safely and efficiently.
• Collaboration with colleagues: Working with your team, you will ensure that incoming air cargo is processed properly and that outgoing orders are ready for departure on time.

The air cargo industry has many regulations. It is therefore essential that you observe the requirements around air cargo while working. You will learn these internally via e-learning.

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and can handle air cargo requirements well. This is what we expect from you:

• You can apply for a VOG
• You have experience on the forklift and holding a valid certificate is a plus.
• You master the Dutch and/or English language in word and writing
• You have basic knowledge of Word and Excel
