Packing Clerk

As a packing assistant at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you’ll earn a starting wage of at least €14.58 gross per hour. This does not include bonuses and depends on your age and experience. You’ll be part of a friendly team that values open communication and collaboration. As a packing assistant , you ’ll work full-time and have the opportunity to earn a permanent contract with Nedal. As a packing assistant at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht responsible for packing important aluminum products. This involves tasks such as sawing, straightening, measuring, and inspecting. Everyone on the shop floor starts by learning basic skills. Later, you can advance to become an operator or a team leader/press operator. At Nedal, they appreciate it when you do your best and are open to learning new things. What does your day look like as a packing employee?
You arrive on time and have a cup of coffee or tea. Next, you discuss the handover with colleagues from the previous shift. After that, you prepare your work thoroughly and divide the tasks with your colleague. What steps do you take to do this?

• Make sure the packing diagram is available to the team;
• Discuss the client's requirements;
• Agree among yourselves on who will take on which task;
• Work with the team to draw up a suitable schedule.

This takes place in a clean and safe work environment where you play your part.
The packing assistant Function operates on a three-shift schedule. The shifts are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Willing to work in a three-shift rotation;
• Experience in a technical role involving the use of tools;
• Proficiency in following work instructions and using tools.
