Cookie Factory Operator

As an Operator, you’ll be working at Pally Biscuits, the well-known cookie manufacturer in Nieuwegein. This modern factory produces over 10 million cookies every day. To ensure this production process runs smoothly, we’re looking for an Operator willing to work a five-shift schedule. You’ll work an average of 33.6 hours per week, which provides a good balance between work and free time.

You’ll start with a gross hourly wage of at least €17.83, excluding shift premiums. The average shift premium is 28.75%. Your final salary will be determined based on your age and experience.

As an Operator, you play a key role in the cookie production and packaging process. Depending on your role, you’ll work as a process operator—focusing on preparing dough and monitoring the baking process—or as a packaging operator—ensuring that products are neatly packaged and ready for shipment. You’ll monitor quality on a daily basis and ensure that the production process runs smoothly.

What are you going to do?

• Setting up and adjusting production lines, performing quality checks, and recording production data;
• Continuously monitor the production process to ensure stable and efficient progress;
• Identifying and resolving malfunctions and providing support during the conversion or setup of production lines;
• Performing minor technical maintenance on machines and equipment;
• Share information about progress, deviations, and special circumstances with colleagues and supervisors.

For this Function , we Function an Operator with relevant experience in a similar role who feels comfortable working in a production environment. You are comfortable working a five-shift schedule and are flexible enough to work day, evening, and night shifts.

Do you also hold one or more of the following certifications? If so, that’s definitely a plus:

• A valid forklift and/or reach truck certification;
• A VAPRO diploma;
• An HACCP certificate.
