Operator in training

Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht offers you the opportunity to start as an Operator in training at our extrusion department. During your work you will learn from experienced colleagues. You will get the opportunity to grow and get a permanent contract. What do we offer you?

• Training Opportunities: You will start as an Operator in training and learn all the intricacies of the job.
• Salary: A gross monthly salary between € 2942 and € 3300 (including shift bonus of 16%), depending on age and experience
• Vacation: 25 vacation days plus 5% ADV (13 additional days off when working a 40-hour week).
• Travel allowance: From 5 kilometers and up, you will receive a travel allowance.
• Clothing and protection: The company will arrange for your work clothes and personal protective equipment.

As a trainee operator you will work in a team of five colleagues. There are regular fun company outings and there is free coffee, tea and water in the factory. Snacks and lunch options are also available for a small fee.

In Nedal's extrusion department, you will perform various tasks to produce aluminum profiles. As a trainee operator you will operate various machines. You will develop into a specialist in stretching and sawing aluminum profiles to size. You will also learn to check the products and build in dies. Eventually you can advance to operating the press driver.

During your training, you will first work in a two-shift operation (06:30 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 23:30). Once you have more experience, you will move to a three-shift job (07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00 and 23:00-07:00).

• Preferably a completed technical education at least LBO level, eagerness to learn and motivation are most important.
• Experience in a similar position is a plus, we are happy to teach you everything you need.
• Certifications such as Vapro, forklift, reach truck or VCA are a bonus, not required. We offer opportunities to obtain these during your training.
