What will you be doing?

As an Operator at Remia, you’ll be responsible for operating and setting up advanced, computer-controlled production and packaging lines. You’ll work alternately at the Margarine Plant, where products such as margarine and frying oils are produced, and at the Sauce Plant, where various sauces—including salad, french fry, and BBQ sauces—are made. The production lines can be up to about 70 meters long and require precision and a good overview. Together with a small, close-knit team, you’ll ensure a smooth, safe, and high-quality production process. Quality is paramount, both in the final product and in teamwork.

What are you going to do?

  • Converting and precisely adjusting packaging lines when there are changes in packaging or format;
  • Managing and supervising coworkers on the production line;
  • Independently resolve first-line issues, identify technical anomalies, and escalate them to the technical department.

You will work a three-shift schedule with the following hours: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Your strengths

For this Function , we Function an Operator with experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. You’re comfortable working three shifts and are flexible enough to work day, evening, and night shifts. You also have strong technical and numerical skills, which allow you to effectively operate and adjust machines and systems.
Does this sound like you?

  • You have experience as an Operator and know how to keep processes running smoothly;
  • You are flexible and willing to work on a rotating shift schedule;
  • You have technical insight and can work accurately with various production lines and systems.

Do you also hold one or more of the following certifications? If so, that’s a plus:

  • A valid forklift and/or reach truck certification;
  • A VAPRO and/or HACCP certificate.
