Mechanic

Are you the mechanic who takes immediate action in case of technical malfunctions? At your new workplace in Edam, as an all-round malfunction mechanic, you will play a crucial role in keeping our production lines running smoothly. Faults? You solve them quickly and efficiently with your technical expertise and solution-oriented approach. You will receive a gross monthly salary between € 2,800 and € 3,900, - excluding allowances.

What do we offer?

• A full-time position for 37.5 hours per week. 
• You will participate in a 6-week schedule (3 weeks of shifts 4:00 - 1:30 p.m., 1:15 - 9:45 p.m. and 9:30 - 5:00 p.m. and 3 weeks of day shift).
• A shift bonus of 20% and working on weekends the bonuses increase from 50% to 100%.
• Labor market allowance of €350 gross per month.
• A travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometer from 10 km.

In addition to troubleshooting, you will work proactively to maintain our machines and contribute to innovative projects. • In case of breakdowns, you are the first on site and solve problems quickly and competently.
• By performing preventive maintenance, you will ensure that our production lines continue to run smoothly and minimize downtime.
• Whether it's electronic or mechanical work, you know your way around - or are open to developing further in this area.
• You record your work accurately in our maintenance system Ultimo and keep your colleagues well informed.
• You work with your team on improvement projects and your ideas and input make the difference.

We would like to see the following in you as an operator:

• MBO work and thinking level.
• Experience as a troubleshooting technician.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, or willingness to learn.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• In possession of own transportation: there is no public transportation nearby.
