Technician

Are you the technician who springs into action immediately when technical issues arise? At your new workplace in Edam, you’ll play a crucial role as an all-around maintenance technician in keeping our production lines running smoothly. Malfunctions? You’ll resolve them quickly and efficiently with your technical expertise and solution-oriented approach. You’ll receive a gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,900, excluding bonuses.

What do we offer?

• A full-time position for 37.5 hours per week. 
• You will work on a 6-week rotation (3 weeks of shift work from 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM, 1:15 PM to 9:45 PM, and 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM, followed by 3 weeks of day shifts).
• A 20% shift premium, and for weekend work, the premiums range from 50% to 100%.
• A labor market subsidy of €350 gross per month.
• A travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometer for distances of 10 km or more.

In addition to troubleshooting issues, you’ll proactively work on maintaining our machines and contribute to innovative projects. • In the event of a malfunction, you’ll be the first on the scene and will resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• By performing preventive maintenance, you ensure that our production lines continue to run smoothly and that downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Whether the work involves electronics or mechanics, you know what to do—or are open to learning more about it.
• You will accurately record your work in our Ultimo maintenance system and keep your colleagues well informed.
• You’ll work with your team on improvement projects, and your ideas and input will make all the difference.

We’d like to see the following qualities in you as an operator:

• High school level of work and thinking.
• Experience as a maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, or a willingness to learn these fields.
• Proficiency in Dutch.
• If you have your own transportation: there is no public transportation nearby.
