Warehouse employee part time

As a Warehouse Assistant in Nieuw-Vennep, you will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading air cargo equipment. You will work at our client, which has been a global leader in temperature-controlled containers for over 30 years. Interested? Then apply immediately! We offer a challenging position that includes:

• A gross hourly wage of €15.04.
• A part-time job of 24 hours per week. You will work Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between 09:00 - 17:00.
• A travel allowance.
• Development opportunities: through UBN you can take various courses if required.

In this position, the focus is on working carefully with dry ice. You make sure that the containers are always filled with the right amount and neatly in place in the racks. Through your accuracy, you will contribute to the safety and efficiency of the transport process and ensure that the containers remain at the right temperature.
What will you do?

• Dry ice check and replenishment: You check the stock of dry ice and make sure the barrels are properly filled and in the right place in the racks.
• Preparing (refrigerated) equipment for transport: You load equipment cleanly and neatly according to guidelines, so that everything can be transported safely.
• Ensuring a clean workplace and neat containers: You will keep both your workplace and containers orderly, keeping everything organized and tidy.
• Moving containers by forklift: With your forklift experience, you will move containers safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with colleagues: Together you will ensure that incoming air freight is processed properly and that outgoing orders are ready for departure on time.

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and can handle air cargo requirements well. This is what we expect from you:

• You can apply for a VOG.
• You have experience with the computer and knowledge with Microsoft, Word and Excel.
• You have a command of the Dutch and/or English language in both word and writing.
• A plus if you have forklift experience and a valid certificate.
