Warehouse Worker

The company specializes in wood and building materials—an interesting industry! In addition to your Function a warehouse associate, you’ll also have customer contact!

• A starting salary of €15.72 per hour;
• Working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM;

As a warehouse associate, you’ll work with your colleagues to prepare orders. These orders are primarily placed by construction companies and independent contractors. You’ll use the work orders to gather the materials and pack them in waterproof packaging. Customers can drive their vans through the warehouse to pick up their orders from you. You’ll also be responsible for restocking inventory. Additionally, you’ll ensure that the warehouse remains organized and tidy. At this company, the focus isn’t on processing as many orders as possible, but on processing them correctly. We’re currently looking for someone who already has experience picking construction materials.

You’ll be working with a team of about 10 people. If your colleagues are absent, you may be asked to help them with their tasks. Once you’ve mastered the order-picking process, you’ll be assigned additional responsibilities, such as loading and unloading trucks. This also involves some planning of the trucks’ routes. In addition, you’ll help customers pick up their orders. So, it’s a fun and varied Function a warehouse associate!

• You can do your job well without assistance;

• You’re not afraid to speak up when things can or should be done differently;
• You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar Function the lumber and/or building materials industry;
• You are willing to take a course to obtain your forklift certification.
