What you will do

As a logistics assistant, you will advise customers on a daily basis, help load goods, replenish shelves and load and unload products.
The store is open from 07:00 to 21:00, giving you flexibility in scheduling your shifts. The store is also open on evenings and weekends, this means you need to be available at least 1 day on weekends. The salary is 13.68 euros gross per hour for a 38-hour work week.

As a logistics employee, you will work in the drive-thru department. This means that the customer drives in with his/her car and can load the products directly. You also answer questions from customers about the products the company sells. Therefore, you have to be well informed about the use and application of the different products.

To sell as much as possible and make sure customers leave satisfied, you will also be busy with:

  • Advise on complementary products.
  • Ordering products.
  • Ensuring proper presentation of products.
  • Control and maintain prices.
  • Gain new knowledge about products.

Your qualities

  • Secondary vocational education working and thinking level.
  • Experience in a similar position or knowledge of a particular product group is required.
  • You are also available in the evenings and on weekends.
  • You are good at advising customers on products and enjoy thinking with them.

Where will you work

You will be working as a Logistics employee in a large Construction Market in Den Hoorn. This construction market has everything for indoor and outdoor handyman projects. Think of tools, lighting, tiles and fences, as well as a city garden where you will find all kinds of plants and accessories.
