What you will do

As a welder, you play an important role in the production of train tracks. Train tracks are also called rails, and trains run over them every day. You can participate in this, and just walking around our client's premises is super cool!

You will work as a welder in a workshop with about eight colleagues. Here you will learn various tasks and be trained to become a real all-rounder.

You start by making holes in the rails. These holes are needed to mount the rails to other rails. This is done with a machine that secures the rails with large screws. This is how they make kilometer-long rails.

In the workshop, you focus mainly on making crossings and turns. You work with different parts to make sure trains stay on the right track. You also make pins that guide trains to the right track. Here you use metal and special heated techniques.

For this position, it is important that you work very precisely and follow the rules. We are looking for someone with a technical background. Don't have a technical background, but willing to learn the trade? Then that's good too! We are open to people who are enthusiastic and want to learn.
