Cafeteria Worker

Do you enjoy working in a kitchen and making sure everything runs smoothly? We’re looking for a cafeteria staff member for a modern cafeteria. You’ll work the day shift and play a key role in supporting your colleagues. This Function temporary Function , but it offers plenty of variety and responsibility.

Through our staffing agency, you’ll be working for a large logistics company in Zaltbommel. You’ll work fixed day shifts and know your schedule well in advance. This is a temporary Function August, with the possibility of an extension through early September.

• A gross monthly salary starting at €2,872.68 based on a 40-hour workweek
• A higher salary may be offered based on relevant experience
• Business days: Monday through Friday
• Day shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• Temporary job for several months through a staffing agency

In addition, you’ll accrue vacation pay and vacation days. You’ll receive guidance from our staffing agency, and you can always contact us with any questions.

As a cafeteria employee, you’ll work with your colleagues to keep the cafeteria clean and well-organized. You’ll prepare food and drinks, assist colleagues at the counter, and keep things under control during busy times. You enjoy providing service and make sure everyone feels welcome.
You’ll work in a small team where collaboration is key. Colleagues help one another and speak up when necessary. The atmosphere is open and direct. The pace can sometimes be fast, especially around break times. You’ll stay calm and keep everything under control.
Your duties will include, among other things:

• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Cleaning the kitchen and cafeteria
• Tracking orders and putting products in the right place
• Working in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Supporting colleagues during busy times

For this Function important that you have a practical mindset and enjoy working in a kitchen. You know how to handle food cleanly and safely.

• You speak and understand Dutch well (required for instructions and safety)
• You have experience in the hospitality industry or enjoy working with food
• You are familiar with basic hygiene rules, such as working in a clean environment and FIFO
• You can work independently and maintain an overview
• You are available through August
