Forklift driver

Do you already have experience as a forklift driver? Are you looking for a job for a longer period with a view to permanent employment? Start work immediately in Barendrecht as forklift driver in the day shift (from 08:00 to 17:00). The salary is negotiable and depends on your experience;you will earn a gross hourly wage of € 13.68 to € 15.00 which amounts to a gross monthly salary of € 2,371 to € 2,600 per month.

As a forklift driver, you will be working in the outbound department. You will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of orders. No order will be late because of your help. You already have experience on the forklift and know how to jump on it. Of course you will be trained extensively, yet you already know very well how a logistics process works.

In the position of forklift driver, you are responsible for smart preparation of goods. You have a controlling function and in this, working accurately is very important to avoid mistakes.

In addition, you will also be engaged in the following tasks:

• Picking materials to be shipped from storage location (by forklift or pump truck).
• You will package and prepare the materials for shipment yourself.
• Loading and unloading with the forklift.
• You keep the warehouse neat and tidy.

Everyone makes sure that the work is finished and lends a helping hand. There is an informal atmosphere and a positive attitude is important in the team.

What do we ask of you?

• You have experience as a forklift operator.
• Knowledge of or experience in the logistics industry.
• You do not shy away from a challenge and can easily deal with change.
• You are driven, physically strong and have good communication skills.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language (both oral and written).
