Machine operator

As an machine operator at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you will work in the extrusion department. The salary for this position is negotiable and depends on age and experience. The starting salary is a minimum of € 16.90, which includes the standard 16% shift allowance. You will join a friendly team with plenty of communication and collaboration. In the extrusion department, you will perform various tasks to produce profiles. As an machine operator, you will operate different machines to stretch and cut profiles to size. Also, you will be doing the follwing tasks:

• Inspecting profiles for straightness, dimensions, and damage.
• Installing extrusion dies.
• Learning to operate the press driver.

The machine operator role starts with a two-shift system 06:30 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 23:30. Afterwards, it transitions to a three-shift system 07:00 to 15:00 – 15:00 to 23:00 and 23:00 to 07:00.

• Preferably a completed technical education at a minimum MBO level
• Proven work experience in a similar role
• A VAPRO, forklift and/or reach truck certificate, or VCA is a bonus
