Experienced Teamleader

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance department at our site at the Eemshaven. The department’s main goal is to ensure that repairs and maintenance of the machines of our) customer are done safely. To ensure a smooth operations with a high quality standard that is performed on time. You are going to work from Monday to Friday and sometimes in the weekend. Your working hours will be from 8:30-17:30. You are going to earn between € 2700 and € 3500 gross per month, depends on your work experience and age.

The ideal candidate will have, of course, excellent leadership skills and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will work in a dynamic environment with direct contact with our customer where continuous (technical) innovation is paramount. Technical knowledge is not necessary, but is considered helpful. Managing the team and the processes is what you will need the most. It’s your passion for the job that will get the work done.

Main activities:

•            Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
•            Workforce scheduling including vacation planning, absence, and overtime control.
•            Conduct regular inspections to identify continuous improvement.
•            Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
•            Ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
•            Supervise inventory of tools and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
•            Collaborate with other (external) departments to identify maintenance needs and priorities.
•            Monitor and control maintenance costs.
•            Prepare reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics.
•            Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

•            Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
•            Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within the field of logistics.
•            Technical knowledge and skills are nice to have but not necessary to get the job done.
•            Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
•            Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•            Willingness to work flexible hours and during weekends.
