Crating Specialist

We are looking for a Crating Specialist to join our team in GXO Schiphol-Rijk. In this role, you will be responsible for packing goods in wooden crates for safe transportation.

• working in shifts. one week 6AM to 3PM, one week 1PM to 10PM
• After 7PM 125% paid and after 9PM 135%

What you will be doing: 
 

• Crating: You will be building and securing wooden crates, using your knowledge of construction and woodworking skills.
• Loading/Unloading: You will be moving racks and heavy items, using appropriate lifting techniques and safety procedures.
• Preparing Goods: You will be carefully packing and securing items within the crates.

• Physical Fitness: You will be lifting and moving heavy objects
• Attention to Detail: You will be ensuring that goods are properly secured and protected, so accuracy is essential.
• Teamwork: You will be working with a team to complete tasks, so you should be a good communicator and team player.
