As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the maintenance department at our location in Eemshaven. The main objective of this department is to ensure that repairs and maintenance of our (high-end tech) customer's machines are carried out safely, to a high standard, and on time to guarantee smooth operations.

What are you going to do?

The ideal candidate will, of course, have excellent leadership skills and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will work in a dynamic environment with direct contact with our customers, where continuous (technical) innovation is paramount. Technical knowledge is not essential, but it is helpful. Managing the team and the processes is what you will need most. It is your passion for the work that will ensure that the work gets done.

• Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members
• Staff planning, including vacation planning, absence, and overtime control
• Conducting regular inspections to identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
• Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Overseeing the inventory of tools and supplies for maintenance tasks
• Collaborating with other (external) departments to identify maintenance needs and priorities
• Monitor and control maintenance costs
• Preparing reports on maintenance activities and performance indicators
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Your qualities

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable experience as a supervisor or similar role within logistics
• Technical knowledge and skills are a plus, but not essential to get the job done
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
