Safety Officer

A challenging and stable position at Nedal Aluminum, located in Utrecht, as Safety Officer.

• A contract for 32-40 hours per week
• Salary between €3,500 and €4,300 gross per month, on a full-time basis, depending on your experience and education.
• According to CAO Metalektro, including the PME pension plan and 5% ATV.
• Travel allowance from 5 kilometers and up.
• Organized company outings throughout the year.

You will have a challenging position in the heart of our production organization with a lot of freedom and support from our production management team. As a Safety Officer, you will be involved daily with:

• Implement and maintain security measures within our organization.
• Keeping our ISO 45001 system current and contributing to continuous safety improvement.
• Chairing the EHS Steering Committee with determination and expertise.
• Advise the organization on safety issues and actively identify and address risks.
• Sharing expertise and insights with the team and working closely with the QHSE department.

To fit well in the role of Safety Officer at Nedal, you really feel at home in the industry. Looking for solutions about safety is where you see challenge and fun. You are good at analyzing data and assessing risks. You also know how to clearly communicate this information to various stakeholders. What else is important?

• At least a completed MVK degree
• Experience and/or training in the technical field/ as a Safety Officer
• Dutch language fluency in word and writing. It is an advantage if you can also speak English.
