Operator

At Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you will work as an operator in the extrusion department. There we heat aluminum and press it through a die. This creates different shapes, such as tubes, profiles and sheets. These are used by many different companies for example, train construction, tent construction, event stands, bicycle industry and much more. When you start as an operator at Nedal, you will earn the following:

• Salary from € 3009 gross per month, including 16% shift bonus (collective labor agreement Metalektro). Salary is negotiable and depends on age and experience.
• A full-time position (40 hours per week) with the prospect of a permanent contract.
• Travel allowance from 5 km.
• 25 vacation days + 5% adv (13 additional days off when working a 40-hour week).

The operator position starts in a two-shift operation from 06:30 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 23:30. Then you will move to a three shift job from 07:00 to 15:00, from 15:00 to 23:00 and from 23:00 to 07:00. If you travel by public transport, we can look at your start times in consultation.
You will work in a production environment where it is sometimes a bit loud because of the machines. You also have no problem working in a factory, where the climate can vary.

• You speak the Dutch or English language.
• You have technical training or experience as an operator.
• A forklift or reach truck certificate, Safe Hoisting and VCA certificate are a plus, not a must. You are willing to obtain these.
