Are you our new shipping clerk who can think on their feet and two handy? We are looking for a technical shipping clerk in the Houten area.

In this versatile Function , you Function responsible for the final step in the production process: the dispatch and final inspection of customer-specific products such as conveyor belts, production belts, drive belts, and associated accessories. Together with a compact and close-knit team, you will ensure that everything is ready to provide the customer with perfect service.

A large part of your work consists of checking and packing the products before they are shipped. You carefully check the dimensions, check for any damage, and ensure that everything meets the specified requirements. You are responsible for creating and printing the packing slips on the computer. Working accurately and precisely is very important in this role.

In addition, you will be in contact with carriers regarding the shipment and handling of orders. You will ensure that everything runs smoothly and that the products arrive at the customer on time and in good condition.
Although you may also be involved in the production process, such as cutting tires to size (by machine or by hand) or attaching accessories, the emphasis in this Function is Function completing orders and ensuring flawless shipping.

Our client is a manufacturer of conveyor belts, drive belts, and timing belts for the international market. They supply these to various industries, such as the food, packaging, paper, and printing industries. However, these (conveyor) belts can also be found in airports and in the transport sector. In addition to the production of belts, they offer value-added services for the coating of parts and extensive technical expertise. They are based in Utrecht.
