Assistant Controller

• A salary between €3,700 and €5,000, depending on your experience and skill level;
• A workweek of 32 to 36 hours;
• 8.33%;
• 25.5 days of vacation based on full-time employment;
• Gym membership fees and other tax-free allowances.

As Assistant Controller, you will serve as the CFO’s right-hand person and, together with the CFO, ensure that the financial records are always in order. In addition, you will ensure that the accountants receive the appropriate coaching and guidance in their duties.

You will be responsible for:

• Handling financial administration independently;
• Coaching and mentoring the administrators;
• You will serve in an advisory capacity to the management;
• Handling general ledger accounting, monthly closings, and the annual financial statements;
• Balance sheet calculations;
• Working together to identify areas where the financial administration process can be improved;
• Jointly responsible for procurement, tenders, and contract management;

What is expected of you?

• A college or university degree in finance;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar Function;
• Knowledge of Excel, Afas, or Power BI;
• An interest in automation and change management.
